This week saw an exciting new development with MandiMoo and Marietjie Oelofse Couture as we merged our business’ and created a brand new funky baby clothing range called BabyMoo!  The idea has been in the pipeline for a few months, but we finally decided to dive in and get started on the range. And I am super excited as to how our items are looking, feeling and being received by the mommy community!  Big things to come!!!

At the moment we have two designs.  The first being a long sleeved onesie available in beautiful bright colours.  Each onesie is embellished with either some clever embroidered slogan, cute applique design or like the picture below – a gorgeous tutu!  Can there be anything cuter than a crawling baby girl with a fluffy tutu bouncing around?

Then we have our signature item which is the BabyMoo Playsuit.  Marietjie and I designed this around what we wanted *our* babies to wear.  It is a one piece outfit with a comfortable envelope neck.  The playsuit has no poppers, buttons or zippers but instead has an opening at the back with an elasticated waistband.  This makes for easy bum changes and the comfort of baba wearing a one piece without the hassle of separate shirts and pants where the shirt always rides up when picking the baby up.  The playsuit also has no feet which is ideal for our babas who are starting to stand up wherever possible now making store-bought one piece outfits painful as the babies slip.

Every item is a one of a kind at the moment and more will be produced as the demand increases.  We have lots of ideas and will have more designs coming out next week.  So stay tuned!!!  The Onesies are selling at R150.00 each and the awesome playsuits are going for R250.00 each.  I will be putting all items for sale in my MandiMoo shop and on Facebook next week, as everything we have made this week has already been sold! How awesome is that???

And here is my little man modelling a Grey Monster Love Playsuit.  Is that not the cutest thing?  I cannot believe he is standing already – very eager to walk and only 9 months old!  Where did my baby go?
